Hello Families,

My name is Brett Cameron, and I have been appointed as the principal of our new elementary school. Prior to this role, I served as the principal at both Woodward and Whiteside Elementary. I look forward to using those wonderful experiences to build a vibrant, connected, and caring school community together with you.

I am pleased to welcome all our new students and their families to City Centre Elementary for the 2026/27 school year. We are thrilled to welcome your family as part of our founding school community.

Our school is opening in a beautifully refurbished school building. I am grateful to take on this role and to begin working with families as we prepare for the opening of our doors for students on September 8th, 2026. I look forward to the work ahead as we build a school that supports students in their learning, well-being and sense of belonging. Over the coming months, I will be supporting planning and preparation in coordination with district staff, focusing on creating a strong and welcoming environment for students and families.
